    Our resume building and LinkedIn profile creation sessions help our learners to articulate their skills, strengths, knowledge, and experiences relevant for the desired job role. We help them self-advocate and prepare for interviews through a robust series of exercises that include role analysis, mock interviews, case interview preparation, etc. We also offer access to online job to every learner as they progress in their programmes.

Will attending career development programmes add to my attendance requirement for the programme?

As per the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations, a student needs to complete 75% of the learning requirement to be eligible to appear for exams of an online degree programme. This includes reading through the e-content, completing assignments and assessments, and attending classes on the student portal. Career advisory and skill development programmes are additional benefits provided to students and do not contribute towards the attendance requirement.

Do you organise job fairs? If yes, when?

We organise career fairs every 6 months.

Do students have to pay for the virtual job fairs?

No, students enrolled in Manipal University Jaipur’s online degree programmes do not have to pay to participate in the virtual job fairs or to apply to listed jobs. Our career advisory and placement services are offered free of cost to our students.

Do students from other institutes also participate in the job fairs?

We encourage healthy competition within our cohort of students only.

Do you offer resume writing and interviewing tips?

Yes, we organise sessions for professional development and our career advisory experts help students create impactful resumes and online profiles, and give tips on presentation and interview skills. We ensure that our students receive the support they need to become more employable.

How do I know which job I should pursue?

Manipal University Jaipur has a strong career counselling cell that students can approach at any time to get guidance on their careers. Mentors and academic counsellors are also available to help students chart out their career paths. We advise learners to utilise these services from the start of their programmes, so they have insights about their progress each semester. Our scientifically designed psychometric and recruitment assessments help understand strengths and weaknesses and guide students in making informed professional decisions. We’ll be with you each step of the way.

Do you help with soft skills development?

Absolutely! Apart from the industry-relevant curricula that is designed for our students to develop domain-specific skills, we offer skill development programmes too. These programmes focus on softer aspects like interpersonal communication, business etiquette, confidence building, cultural fluency, etc. This will help our graduates become well-rounded personalities as they embark on their professional journey.

Do you guarantee a job after completion of the online degree programme?

Securing a job depends on various factors; the recruiting organisations have the final say on this. We do not guarantee a job for students, but we help them build and strengthen the skills and knowledge needed to transform themselves into valuable candidates. The final selection of the candidate(s) will depend on how he/ she performs in their programme and interview, and if they are in line with the hiring organisation’s recruitment policies, requirement, and candidature fit.

Who’s eligible to apply for campus placements?

Students in the final year of their programme are eligible for campus placements provided they have been regular and complete their programme in the minimum duration.
